Becoming a Certified Data Vault Data Modeler (CDVDM), by means of completing the seminar “Data Vault Modeling & Certification”, enables BI professionals to provide their customers with world class and up-to-date Data Vault model & methodology knowledge and best practices. The certification is provided by Genesee Academy in cooperation with local partners. Genesee Academy is the certifying entity for the Data Vault approach, with over 600 Data Vault certifications issued to date including the Certified Data Vault Data Modeler (CDVDM) and the Certified Data Vault. Genesee Academy instructors are all active practitioners who are true experts in their fields. They have already solved complex problems in their fields and are ready to share their real-world experience and practical solutions with you. Everything you learn is practical, relevant and up to the minute.

Data Vault Modeling & Certification - Schedule

Seminar Details

Structure:
The seminar is delivered using a hybrid technique including access to over 20 hours of online ondemand video lessons and labs, available for two weeks and delivered through DataVaultAcademy.com. Plus 2,5 days in the classroom with Hans Hultgren for in-depth lessons and interactive lab work. All course materials, labs, exercises, online lessons and exam fees are included in the seminar  registration. The onsite days are meant for interaction, so you will have ample opportunity to discuss your challenges with the instructors and your fellow students.

Target Audience:
Data Modelers, Data Architects, Business Analysts, BI/DWH Analysts, ETL Designers, Systems Architects, Business Sponsors, IT Executives, Project Managers, BI.DWH Architects, Report designers and developers, Database Architects, etc.

Class Delivery:
Onsite classroom lessons, online video lessons, presentations, real-life cases, discussions, exercises, and labs.

Lab Work:
Students will break off into groups to work through specific topics. Case-studies for the teams will be provided for hands-on lab work.

Documentation:
A booklet with all presentation slides, examples, cases and workshops will be provided.

Certification:
The written exam has a 2,5 hour time limit and is in English. Only knowledge, ideas and concepts are graded. No points are deducted or awarded for grammar or spelling. Allow 3 to 4 weeks for the results to become available. Each student will be notified individually by e-mail.
